What is the fondest memory from your playing career at DeSales?
The fondest memory for me came after I had graduated from DeSales, while I was a senior at Mount Union and driving down the road to watch my little brother play in the State Championship game in '09 and realizing that my older brother, myself, and my younger brother all played in a state championship game. Realizing we may be the only family to accomplish this.
What was your best game?
I will always remember the Ironton game from my senior year. It was a hard fought game. We were playing for our playoff lives. Sitting at 5-4, on the playoff bubble. Playing in Ironton was a different experience for everyone on our team. I had been once when I was kid watching my older brother play, but being there in the moment was surreal. Personally my best game I would say would be a toss up between New Albany and Sheridan my senior year in the playoffs.
What made playing for DeSales special?
Developing the relationship with your teammates through the hard days. You knew everyone was there for one reason, to win. I can say going through all the two-a-days, 5 am lifting sessions, and summer conditioning has shaped me into the man I am today. Always expecting the best out of everyone I come in contact with. Playing for Coach Jacoby, Coach Big Wigs and Coach Ryan Wiggins was the best coaching experience as they instilled in me that you have to be in 100% in everything you do.
Do you still follow DeSales, if yes, how closely?
My job makes it very easy to follow the Stallions through recruiting. Will always BLEED PURPLE!!!
