Where are living now?
Lewis Center, Ohio
What are you doing now?
I own a Landscaping, Construction, and Dumpster company
Married? Children?
I am married to my wife, Crystal, and we have 4 kids, Emerson, Drew, Eli and Natalie.
Did you play collegiately?
Yes, I went to Otterbein to play, but due to an injury, I was not able to continue playing.
What is the fondest memory from your playing career at DeSales?
One of my fondest memories was from Senior year against Westerville South.
There were two moments from that night that I’ll never forget.
First, Tony Borghese got sacked (not my fault, by the way), and somehow the ball ended up in my hands — a fumble or pass, depending on who you ask. I took off down the field like every offensive lineman dreams of doing. Of course, it got called back for illegal touching, but for those few seconds, I was living the dream: the big man with the ball in open field.
The second moment came late in the game. We had just scored a touchdown to bring us to 48 points. That’s when Coach Jacoby called a timeout. He reminded us of one of our season goals: to score 50 points in a single game. He told us we were going for two — and we got it. That conversion meant more than just numbers; it was a moment of pride, unity, and accomplishment.
To this day, that game reminds me what makes football unforgettable — the unexpected moments, the team goals, and the coaches and teammates who made it all possible.
What made playing for DeSales so special?
Playing for DeSales was so special to me. I gained not only friends, but family that I am still close with to this day.
What was your best game?
As an offensive lineman, I never really had a "best" game with a bunch of stats that would stand out. If I had to choose the best game, it would have been my Senior year against Watterson. Going against good opponents on the other side of the ball and knowing that winning the game meant we would be CCL Champs made it even sweeter to beat your rival-especially on their home turf.
What was it like playing for Coach Jacoby?
Coach Jacoby was unlike anyone else that I have ever played for. He brought out the best in you, not only as a player, but also as a person. I still talk about playing for him to this day and thats something that I will always keep with me.
Do you still follow the Stallions and if so, how closely?
I still follow DeSales and watch for updates on social media and Pouring Purple.
