Where are living now?
Utica
Did you play collegiately?
I did not play football in college. I went on to coach several little league football teams and then began coaching my daughters once they started playing sports
What are you doing now?
I am enjoying being retired and working around my barn. I love spending time with my family and my three grandchildren. They keep me busy with their sporting and school activities.
Married? Kids?
I have been married 45 years to my wife, Robin, and we have two daughters who also graduated from DeSales. Erica graduated in ‘03 and Nichole graduated in ‘06.
What is the fondest memory from your playing career at DeSales?
I have too many to count! Playing alongside guys I grew up, watching each other succeed and grow together as teammates- there’s just too many memories to pick one.
What made playing for DeSales so special?
The tradition. Coming from St. Augustine, just like other captains, Rob Esquinas and Brian Harriston that I looked up to and followed in their footsteps meant a lot me.
What was your best game?
Probably my senior year against Ready. We ended up losing 6-2, but by far one of the best defensive games I can remember. I had some really great defensive plays against a really tough and explosive offensive team.
What was it like playing for your coaches?
Playing for Coach Sharrock, Coach Ricevuto and Coach Wielbacher was really great. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play for them.
Do you still follow DeSales, if yes, how closely?
Yes, I have always followed DeSales football very closely. To this day, I attend as many games as I can and even traveled to watch them play. If I can’t make a game, I am usually listening to it.
