Week 10
Ty
VAN FOSSEN

2014-2017

The final edition of “Where Are They Now” for the 2025 season, presented by Ben Aucoin, State Farm Agent, is Ty Van Fossen ‘18!

As a junior in 2016, he led the Stallions with 92 tackles and 26.5 tackles for loss, helping DeSales capture a regional championship.

The following year, as a senior, he again led the team in tackles with 90, earning Division III First Team All-Ohio, First Team All-Central District, First Team All-Metro, and First Team All-Central Catholic League honors.

Over his career, Ty started 34 games for the Stallions, registering 230 tackles and 52.5 tackles for loss. He went on to play collegiately at the University of Cincinnati, where he appeared in 51 games, made 18 starts, and totaled 173 tackles.

Ty’s now living in Newark, and he’s currently serving as a recruit firefighter with the Columbus Division of Fire Training Academy. Click here to read about the former Stallion’s playing days!

A special thanks to State Farm Agent and SFD Assistant Coach Ben Aucoin for sponsoring the series once again!
