What is the fondest memory from your playing career at DeSales?
Without question winning the school's first state football championship in 1985.

What made playing for DeSales so special?
Playing for DeSales meant that you played your position for the betterment of the team. You were one of eleven all focused on a common goal, winning. Humility was one of the most important traits that we learned.

What was your best game?
The state semi-final game against Ironton. It was the first time all year DeSales had ever been losing in a game. We came from behind to win 24-19. I scored 3 touchdowns and had 185 yards rushing.

What was like playing for Coach Pusateri?
Coach Tony Pusateri taught us three things; a great work ethic, perseverance and mental toughness. He taught us to sacrifice everything individually for the team. He taught us to have a positive mental attitude, how to react when, and not if, we faced a challenge. I will be forever grateful for Coach Pusateri.

Do you still follow DeSales, if yes, how closely?
I follow DHS very closely! My son Cameron wrestled for 4 years while at DHS, Anthony has won two state championships at DHS, one as a lacrosse player in 2018 and the other as a lacrosse coach in 2022. Gianna was a 2019 state champion in lacrosse and voted fist team All-Ohio in lacrosse in 2022. Eva will hopefully be a part of the DHS class of 2027. I am very thankful to be a part of the Cua family, which as graduated 53 family members from DeSales!!
