DeSales scored the final 14 points of the game after trailing by ten in the third quarter and rallied to beat Watterson 20-16. The Stallions out-rushed the Eagles 267-52 and were led by Quintell Quinn’s career-high 161 yards. Jaylen Ball scored the go-ahead touchdown and finished with 76 yards rushing. Ball also recorded a career-high 9 tackles on a defense that intercepted three Watterson passes and all of them occurred in the second half.

10/27/2017 - DeSales 41, Watterson 7

Senior quarterback Cole Silvestri accounted for five touchdowns, including three in a 28-0 second quarter for the Stallions as they won their fifth straight over Watterson.  Silvestri threw for 161 yards with three scores and rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns in his final game.  The Stallion defense held the Eagles to -9 yards rushing for the game and were led by Ty Van Fossen's nine tackles and 37-yard fumble recovery returned for a touchdown.  Van Fossen also caught a 51-yard touchdown pass as did Carter Hilleary (34 yards).  Brian Asamoah led the Stallions with 99 yards rushing.  It's the second time that Head Coach Ryan Wiggins won five in a row against Watterson.

9/30/2016 - DeSales 32, Watterson 8

The Stallion defense held the Eagles to 37 yards of total offense in the 32-8 win as the Purple and White improved to 6-0, 1-0 in CCL Silver Division play.  Until the final Watterson possession late in the 4th quarter, the Eagles had -7 yards of offense. Alonzo Booth led a Stallion rushing attack with 208 yards and two touchdowns.  Cole Silvestri and Brian Asamoah each had rushing scores as Head Coach Ryan Wiggins improved to 10-3 against the Eagles.  Junior linebacker Ty Van Fossen recorded two safeties for a Stallion defense that held the Maroon and Vegas Gold to 0 yards after two quarters.

Running back Alonzo Booth set a DeSales series record against Bishop Watterson with 269 yards rushing.  Both teams sputtered on offense in a rain-soaked evening, while playing a game of field possession before Booth took over late in the second half.  The junior scored all three of his touchdowns in the 4th quarter to lead the Stallions to the victory.  The DeSales defense held the Eagles to 46 yards rushing.  With the win, Ryan Wiggins improved to 9-3 against Watterson.

10/17/2014  -  DeSales 17, Watterson 14 (O.T.)

Adam Acquista kicked a game-winning 28-yard field goal in overtime to give the Stallions the win and the CCL title.  Austin Andrews led a DeSales ground attack with 165 yards rushing and two touchdowns.  The Stallions out-gained the Eagles 355-78 in total yards, thanks to four ball carriers gaining over 50 yards (Andrews, Jake Gilmore - 69, Josh DeLozier - 58, Adam Acquista - 51).

In the lowest scoring game for the Eagles in the series since 1998, the Stallions held the Bishop Watterson to 153 total yards and Josh DeLozier ran and threw for a touchdown in the victory.  Austin Andrews led the Purple and White 153 yards rushing.  Adam Acquista scored on a 22-yard reception.

10/14/2011-  DeSales 24, Watterson 15

Head Coach Ryan Wiggins captured his 4th CCL championship in five seasons as the Stallions rode senior running back to Warren Ball to victory.  Ball carried the football a career-high 44 times for 195 yards and two touchdowns.  In his previous three games against the Eagles, Ball had a combined 41 attempts.  With the Stallions up 20-14 in the 4th quarter, senior lineman Ja’Mezz McKinney sacked Austin Greene in the end-zone for a safety.  After recovering an onside kick, Anthony Ciammaichella kicked his third field goal of the game.  The Stallions jumped out to a 17-0 halftime lead after holding Watterson to just 49 yards of offense and one first down.
