Frankie McAllister Named First Team All-Ohio

McAllister becomes the third defensive lineman in the past four seasons to earn First Team All-Ohio honors

Senior defensive lineman Frankie McAllister was named Division-II First Team All-Ohio by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. McAllister, the Division-II Central District Defensive Player of the Year, lead the Stallions with 10 sacks and 21.5 tackles for a loss, and was second on the team with 101 total stops. He will attend Ohio State as a preferred walk-on, becoming the latest in a long line of standout DeSales defensive linemen to earn First Team All-Ohio honors.

Junior quarterback RJ Day and junior wide receiver Dax Middleton were each named Division-II Second Team All-Ohio after rewriting the Stallion record books this season.

Day set a new DeSales single-season passing record with 2,710 yards and 25 touchdowns, while Middleton established new program marks with 62 receptions, 992 receiving yards, and 12 touchdown catches. Middleton also owns DeSales career records for receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns.
