Junior lineman Jonathan Thompson was named the Division-III Central District Player of the Year. Through nine games, Thompson leads the team in tackles for a loss (25.5) and interceptions (5) and is third on the team with 57 stops. On offense, he’s rushed for 592 yards with six touchdowns.
It’s the second time in three years that a Stallion defender was named the District Player of the Year. Joey Velazquez picked up the honor in 2018.
