Also joining Thompson on First-Team All-District are linebacker Jason Velazquez, running back Quintell Quinn, offensive lineman Billy Cain, and placekicker JJ Baugman.
Through nine games, Thompson leads the team in tackles for a loss (25.5) and interceptions (5) .
Velazquez leads the Stallions with 77 stops and is third on the team with 9.5 tackles for a loss. Quinn is 125 yards away from breaking Alonzo Booth’s career rushing mark set in 2016 and has accounted for 1,215 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns. Baughman, in his first year playing football, is 8-for-11 kicking field goals and is 31-for-33 in PATs.
Offensive lineman Will Hast and defensive lineman Matthew Stewart earned Second Team honors, while Jordan Johnson, Owen Kirk and Nicky Pentello were recognized as Special Mention.
