A 28-point first quarter fueled at 42-22 win for DeSales in their first-ever meeting with Bishop Fenwick. Senior quarterback Reno Godfrey threw for three touchdowns and rushed for another as the Stallion improved to 4-1 overall.
The Stallion Defense forced four turnovers, including a 22-yard fumble recovery returned for a score by Jaylen Ball. Mason Washington set up the game’s first score with his second interception of the season. Sophomore linebacker Jonathan Thompson forced a fumble and recorded his first career interception for DeSales, who held the Falcons to 49 yards in the first half. Corey Moriarty also had his first pick as a Stallion.
Jordan Johnson (49), Owen Faulkner (8) and Kole Perrine (65) each had receiving touchdowns. Perrine scored for third time from 60 yards out or more.
