DeSales 28, Lancaster 7, final.

Alonzo Booth scored twice, including a 69-yard touchdown run, and helped lead the Stallions to a 28-7 win over Lancaster to avenge a 2015 season opener.  For the game, the 6-1 245 senior running back finished with 157 yards.  

Cole Silvestri, making his first varsity start at quarterback, finished 8-of-12 passing for 97 yards and connected with Ryan Corkrean from 24 yards for the game's first score.  

Brian Asamoah added a 10-yard touchdown in the first half as the Stallions finished with 372 yards of offense.  

The Stallion first team defense held Lancaster to under 100 yards of offense and did not allow a first down in the second half.  Derrius Mullins led the way with eight tackles, four for a loss, Jared Noble (4T) forced a fumble and Brandon Derrow had a fumble recovery for the Purple and White.
