Josh DeLozier, a sophomore running back, did a little bit over everything in John Carroll’s 42-7 win last Saturday (10/8) against Marietta. The former Stallion had 3 carries for 12 yards, returned a kickoff 16 yards, recorded his first career reception (for 3 yards) and made his first career tackle, finishing with three overall.
The week before, on October 1, Josh made his first appearance of 2016 and returned a kickoff 33 yards. Last year, the 5-foot-10, 205 pounder appeared in one game and returned four punts for 63 yards.
While at DeSales, Josh was a two-year starting quarterback and helped lead the Stallions to a 2014 Regional Runner-up. DeLozier lead the Stallions with 1,130 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns. The Honorable Mention All-Ohio performer also threw for 658 yards with 7 scores.
