DeSales improved to 3-0 and won its 27th consecutive game with a 10-6 victory over Northland.
Dan Sprout’s 21-yard field goal put the Stallions up 3-0 late in the first quarter, and Tom Walsh’s six-yard touchdown run extended the lead to 10-0 with 6:45 left in the first half.
The Stallion defense held Northland to just 124 yards, but the Vikings made it interesting, cutting the lead to 10-6 with 1:44 remaining.
The Vikings then tried an onside kick, but after a lengthy pileup, DeSales came away with the football and held on for the win.
