With the Stallions up 13-6, late in the 4th quarter, with New Albany driving, DeSales defensive end Chris Rock tipped a Joe Morlan pass and intercepted it, clinching the 23rd consecutive regular season win for the Purple and White. Junior quarterback Nick Gentile led the way for the Stallions after rushing for 137 yards on 22 carries. New Albany took a 3-0 lead into the locker room, but Warren Ball’s one-yard touchdown run gave the Stallions the lead for good in the third quarter.
