Sophomore quarterback RJ Day connected with classmate Jordan Karhoff on 4th and 4 from the 8 yard line with 2:34 seconds remaining to finish-off a 96-yard, 20 play drive that gave the Stallions a 14-6 lead. Jonathan Brown had 173 yards rushing, including a 49-yard touchdown run on the opening possession for the Stallions, who improved to 6-1 overall, 2-0 in CCL play. The Hawks, now 3-4, 0-2 in the league, turned the ball over twice inside the red zone. Dax Middleton recorded an interception near the end of the second quarter and Davis Anderson recovered a fumble inside the five yard line in the fourth quarter.
