This Date in SFD Football History - 9/25/64 - The Stallions exploded for 54 points against Jonathan Alder in a 54-8 victory. DeSales piled up 331 yards of offense to improve to 3-0 in their third varsity season in program history. Tom Rock had three rushing touchdowns (51, 3, 3) and senior quarterback Ken Schneider threw two touchdown passes, including a 59-yarder to Mike Metzger, and also added a rushing touchdown for the Stallions. The 54 points still ranks among a top-10 scoring output in this the 59th season of football. Mike DeAcentis and Dave Kauder also added touchdowns for the eventual 1964 CCL Champions.
