Today we go back to October 23, 1982. DeSales beat Columbus St. Charles 22-0 as the The Stallion Defense held the Cardinals to 106 total yards, including 1-of-12 passing for 6 yards. Paul Dobner had two three-yard touchdown runs for DeSales, who jumped out to a 15-0 first quarter lead. Bill Schwartz added a touchdown pass and kicked two PATs. It was the fifth shutout over St. Charles, in the last six games for DeSales.
The Stallions would go on to win the 1982 CCL Championship, their sixth in school history.
