Congratulations to SFD senior Jaylen Ball on his verbal commitment to play football at the University of Akron! An injury in week 8 against St. Charles cut his season short, but the two-way player was second on the team with 307 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. On defense, Ball recorded 52 tackles with 6.5 for a loss.
Jaylen’s older brother, Warren ‘12 was a captain for the University of Akron’s Football team in 2017 and was an Academic All-Mid American Conference selection as a senior.
