Congratulations to SFD senior Owen Faulkner on his verbal commitment to play football at the University of Akron! As a senior, Owen set a DeSales single season record with 40 receptions! On defense, he finished third on the team with 93 tackles. Owen was also tied for second on the team with three interceptions and scored three touchdowns for the Regional Semifinalists. Faulkner's 40 catches broke Kevin Hazel's reception mark of 39, which was set in 1999.
A three-year letter-winner, Owen has been named First Team All-CCL two times and as a senior, he was recognized First Team All-Central District.
