Former Stallion Football player Austin Andrews '16 recorded an interception in yesterday's (4/1/17) Spring Game at Michigan State.  The 5-foot-11, 183 pound defensive back redshirted last year for the Spartans.  He was Michigan State's Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week vs. Notre Dame during the regular season in 2016.

While at DeSales, Andrews was a two-time First Team All-Central District Defensive Back and also rushed for 1,534 in his career with 21 touchdowns as a running back.

The MSU Defense defeated the Offense 33-23.  Michigan State concludes spring practice with two more practices next week (Tuesday and Thursday).
