Former DeSales running back JT Blubaugh '13 has been named a captain for the Ohio State University's Men's Lacrosse team for the upcoming 2017 season.  Blubaugh, who led the Stallions with 895 rushing yards in 2012, has appeared in 48 career games for the Buckeyes and has 32 goals.

While at DeSales, Blubaugh received two letters in football, and also set the career scoring mark for the boys lacrosse program.  He was a two-time first team All-Ohio selection for the lacrosse team and helped lead the Stallions to the 2012 Division-II State Championship.
