The Stallion defense held the Eagles to 37 yards of total offense in the 32-8 win as the Purple and White improved to 6-0, 1-0 in CCL Silver Division play. Until the final Watterson possession late in the 4th quarter, the Eagles had -7 yards of offense. For the game, Watterson had -16 yards rushing.
Alonzo Booth led a Stallion ground attack with 208 yards and two touchdowns. Cole Silvestri and Brian Asamoah each had rushing scores as Head Coach Ryan Wiggins improved to 10-3 against the Eagles.
For Booth, the senior eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark after his second 200-yard game in his career against Bishop Watterson. Alonzo set a Watterson series record with 269 yards against the Eagles last year in a 24-7 at Alumni Stadium.
