Four senior DeSales football players were named Second Team All-Ohio by the Associated Press on Tuesday. Linebacker Ryan Corkrean (83 tackles, 16.5 for a loss, 2 interceptions), placekicker Dominic DiMaccio (96 points), offensive lineman Drew McLuckie (anchor on a line that helped amass 3,998 rushing yards) and defensive lineman Derrius Mullins (78 tackles, 25.5 for a loss).
Mullins and Corkrean were each three-year starters DeSales, starting 39 games. They helped lead the Stallions to 33 wins, three straight CCL Silver Division Championships and a Regional Championship.
McLuckie spent the better part of two years as a two-way starter for the Stallions. On offense, he started 35 games as a right tackle, including the final 11 games in 2014 as a sophomore. On defense, Drew started 22 games as an end.
Mullins was named second team All-Ohio as a junior in 2015. He finished his career with 208 tackles, 60.5 for a loss.
DiMaccio also received second team all-state honors for the second straight season. This year, he tied a school-record for longest field goal, making a 55-yard attempt against Canal Winchester.
Corkrean is a two-time First Team All-Central District selection and led the Stallions in tackles as a sophomore and junior. He finished his DeSales career with 251 tackles, 38 tackles for a loss.
