Tucker Yinger - Football Alum of the Week

Tucker Yinger, a redshirt sophomore running back at the University of Dayton, rushed for 172 on 21 carries in a 35-10 win over Drake on Saturday.  For the season, the 6-foot, 190 pounder leads the Flyers in rushing with 262 yards despite missing two games with an injury.  Last year, the former Stallion finished with 731 yards and three touchdowns and ended up leading UD in rushing.  He also hauled in 11 receptions for 179 yards with two touchdowns and was named Second Team All-Pioneer Football League and First Team Academic All-League.  He had a career high 237 yards rushing on 23 rushes in a win over Marist.

While at DeSales, Tucker was a two-way starter for the Stallions as a senior and in 2013, he was second on the team with 414 yards rushing and four touchdowns.  He also had 55 yards receiving a touchdown and 23 tackles with two interceptions on defense in an All-CCL campaign.
